天井扇は、室内環境を整えかつ省エネルギーには大変有効なものです。しかしながらいいと思うデザインのものがないプロダクトの一つでした。一方で天井扇に照明の付いたものはたくさんありますが、そこにもっとポテンシャルがあるような気がしてなりませんでした。扇風機という機能に照明という機能をプラスするだけでなく、羽を光らせることによって楽しさと新しい照明の方法を模索したいと思いました。回る光は変化の楽しさ、実体が消え現象のみが現れる面白さがあります。
Ceiling fans are extremely effective in improving the indoor environment and saving energy. However, they were one of those products that I couldn't find any designs that I liked. On the other hand, there are many ceiling fans with lights attached, but I couldn't help but feel that there was more potential in them. Rather than just adding lighting functionality to the fan function, I wanted to explore fun and new ways of lighting by making the blades glow. Rotating light brings the joy of change, and the intriguing aspect of the phenomenon disappearing and revealing only the substance.
